Clark Fox, Managing Partner

Clark has been practicing as a tax accountant and small business advisor in Arizona for over 25 years.  He began his career serving as a controller or Chief Financial Officer for several private companies, and has been in private practice since 1993.  Because of his experiences serving as a vice president of finance, he has a unique perspective on how businesses are run from the inside.  Clark is also knowledgeable in and advises his clients regarding asset protection and trusts. He is a true advocate for anyone wanting to spread entrepreneurial wings and start and/or grow a business.  Mr. Fox has also served on the Board of Directors of the Mesa Senior Center for 6 years.

Craig Peterson, CPA

Craig began his business career by owning a chain of retail stores.  He received his Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University in Accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1990.  He worked in an accounting firm for a few years and then went out into private industry.  He was a Chief Financial Officer for several start-up companies including manufacturing and an international toy company.  He partnered with Clark Fox to form Fox Peterson, LLC in 2002. Craig’s specialty and favorite part of his practice is small business consulting.

William H. Barchilon, CPA

William H. “Bill” Barchilon is a new partner at Fox Peterson, LLC.  He is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 20 years experience in tax preparation, planning and resolution. Bill enjoys practicing before the IRS, giving his clients the highest in quality and aggressive representation.  He also has extensive experience with bankruptcy and divorce issues as they relate to taxation, as well as a long history of involvement with taxation of real estate.  Formerly trained as an economist, Bill’s first career was in academia as a Faculty Associate in the Economics Department at Arizona State University and as a Wall Street commodities trader and economist.  Bill brings together his knowledge and experience at Fox Peterson to help his clients and their engagements with the taxing authorities.  Bill also holds a valid Arizona license as a real estate broker and is currently in the process of obtaining his certification as a Certified Divorce Planner, bringing additional resources to all Fox Peterson clients.

Elizabeth Makela, Accountant

Elizabeth has been doing accounting and bookkeeping for 15 years.  She has been working with Mr. Fox for the last 5 years.  Elizabeth will be completing her degree in Accounting in the fall of 2007 and will take the CPA exam in early 2008.  She is an expert in QuickBooks and enjoys training our clients in this program.  She will go on-site for training, clean-ups and repair of your bookkeeping.  Elizabeth’s experience is invaluable in our office and her skills can be an asset to your business.

Jarom Mann, Accountant

Jarom recently completed his bachelor’s degree in accounting from BYU-Idaho and will be taking the CPA exam in early 2008.  Jarom joined Fox, Peterson, LLC shortly after his college graduation and is looking forward to moving up in the firm.  He is an eager entrepreneur who is enthusiastic about starting his career at Fox Peterson.
